About the Artist
With his proto- cubistic style Taddei references past movements without relinquishing that ineffable core element which makes the work distinctly his own.
His male nudes are his signature achievement and invite the viewer’s prolonged attention not only because of the usually beautiful subject matter but also because of the complexity and intricacy of a painting’s “construction”, with its countless broken fields of marvelously harmonic colors, scattered letters, elegantly organized, multi-hued patches and the oddly de-constructed male bodies which ultimately seem ravishingly whole
